Welcome to Bethany Lutheran School website!
Welcome to Bethany Lutheran School website! We are glad that you are allowing us the opportunity to introduce you to Bethany Lutheran School in Naperville, Illinois. We have been blessed with a congregation that has supported a Christian day school for 78 years. This year 260 children in preschool through 8th grade will have the opportunity to hear the grace, love and forgiveness of our Lord Jesus Christ from quality, caring Christian teachers.
BLS has a staff of 21 teachers who are committed to providing a Christ-centered academic environment. In addition to the regular curricular areas, our students also benefit from instruction by specialists in the area of Physical Education, Art, Music, band, drama, special education, and Spanish. BLS also offers interscholastic sports in volleyball, basketball, track and cheerleading.
Our theme this year is Keep Your Eyes on the Goal This theme is based on Philippians 3:14: I press on toward the goal, to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
As Bethany Lutheran School we are committed to helping our students and families Keep their Eyes on the Goal. It is very easy in this day and age to allow many distractions in this world to cause us to lose focus, to take our eyes off of the goal, which is Jesus Christ. Each and every day the students at Bethany get the opportunity to learn about Jesus Christ. They learn how God loved us so much that he sent Jesus to suffer, die, and return to life for the forgiveness of sins. Everything in the world will eventually wear out or be destroyed, but Jesus lasts forever. His love never ends. So we continue to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ.
