Welcome to Bethany Lutheran School website!

We are glad that you are allowing us the opportunity to introduce you to Bethany Lutheran School in Naperville, Illinois.  We have been blessed with a congregation that has supported a Christian day school for 77 years.  This year 260 children in preschool through 8th grade will have the opportunity to hear the grace, love and forgiveness of our Lord Jesus Christ from quality, caring Christian teachers.

BLS has a staff of 21 teachers who are committed to providing a Christ-centered academic environment.  In addition to the regular curricular areas, our students benefit from instruction by specialists in the area of Physical Education, Art, Spanish, Music (including band, handbells and choir) and special education.  BLS also offers interscholastic sports in volleyball, basketball and cheerleading.

This year our school theme is based on Psalm 36:9

For with YOU is the fountain of Life:
In your light we see light.

Preparing children for life is what we do here at Bethany.

  • We help our students acquire knowledge and skills thru our academic program.
  • We help our students develop inquiring minds, thinking skills and study habits.
  • We help our students  develop a healthy, positive self-concept
  • We help our students develop responsibility
  • We help our students develop relationships with others.

All wonderful components of becoming a responsible adult.

And yet…that list is missing one important aspect.  We want more for your child and you do as well.  That is why you chose BLS for your children

  • We guide our students to recognize him/herself as a child of God.
  • We guide our students to acquire knowledge and develop an understanding of God and His love.

As we embark on this school year ….

  • We promise you that each and every day we will share HIS LIGHT….our eternal life with your children that you have entrusted to our care.

In His Service,

Pam Mueller
